Heirloom is early and small. We are not running a formal hiring process yet — but we are always glad to meet people who would be right for this particular kind of work.
Where things stand
There are no open roles posted today. When that changes, openings will appear on this page. We would rather say that plainly than keep a permanent “join us” form that goes nowhere.
That said: if the description below sounds like the work you have been looking for, we want to know you exist. Tell us what you have built and why Heirloom, in particular, pulls at you.
How we think
We build for fifty years, not the next sprint.
Most software is written to be replaced. Heirloom is written to be relied on after the people who wrote it are gone. That changes how you think about every decision.
The work is the trust, not the demo.
The product is obvious — a shared archive of voice, video, and stories. The hard part, and the real work, is being a system someone can believe in for decades. We hire people who find that interesting.
Boring where it should be boring.
We use battle-tested technology for the things that must not fail. We save our creativity for the parts users actually feel.
Plain words, careful hands.
Heirloom touches grief and tenderness. We write clearly, we sweat the microcopy, and we never let cleverness get in front of care.
